Ms. Grossman received her M.A. in Counseling & Education and her B.A. in Sociology. & Anthropology with coursework in Medical Sociology and Anthropology (Forensic Studies), Criminology, and Juvenile
Delinquency from the University of South Florida. She is ABD VTO from Nova Southeastern University and she has been an educator for over 35 years. She has authored several studies and has served as a national consultant to state curriculum development committees, a teaching faculty member, program
administrator, and vocational counselor in college, university, and adult education settings.
A recognized leader in community and business organizations, Fran has served on the board of various professional associations including the Hillsborough County Mental Health Association and as
Vice-President of the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce. She is an affiliate member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Florida Association for Counseling & Development, and the
Florida Career Development Association. She has been recognized by the "1991 International Who's Who of Women" and voted 'Woman of the Year for 1991" by the International Board of Research. She was also named to "Who's Who in American Education" for 1993-94.
A skilled presenter, Fran has participated in numerous seminars, workshops, and symposiums over the past 30 years. She has conducted effective presentations for businesses, educational groups, hospitals and medical facilities, various professional and civic organizations, and has appeared on both television and radio as a guest panelist and primary speaker.
Fran offers professional career counseling to individuals from job evaluation and selection
through job search strategies including in-depth testing of abilities, personality, values and
interests. Fran takes great pride in her specialty...gifted and exceptional children and adults. She also works with parents and educators to provide insight, testing, evaluation, and consulting for ADA, SLD, and IEP/504-plan students.
Ms. Grossman works with attorneys involved in Divorce Litigation and Personal Injury Cases, dealing specifically with vocational issues. Through testing and analysis of personal history, she uses a
forensic approach to assess a client's capacity for career options and earning
capability. She has served as an "Expert Witness" dealing with Vocational Issues
since 1973.
Fran Grossman VTO has accumulated 18 years of college in educational areas . She has
served in public schools: middle and high school for over 20 years. During more than 10
of those years she also did adult and college teaching. Fran has been doing individual
tutoring K - HS for more than 10 years.
